What the new 1km Spacial Resolution will bring

Substantial variations in temperature and other weather variables can exist over short distances, especially in mountainous and coastal regions.

For example, a coarse forecast might average temperatures between a valley and surrounding mountains, which leads to inaccurate forecasts if your interest is in the conditions for your field at the floor of the valley. Our 1 km resolution eliminates this issue, providing accurate, valley-specific forecasts.
